Boutique and Delicious Sideshow specialize
in edgy and unique mens and womens independent designer lines
such as Skingraft Desings, Junker Designs, Jan Hilmer, Steam Trunk,
Wild Card Leather, Five and Diamond, Heathen, Buddhaful, Shawna
Hofmann, and of course our own line of Delicious Corsets!
Our original circus inspired Delicious Boutique
on Liberties Walk was designed by Philadelphia artist Mark Brodzik,
and offers the perfect environment for shopping and for the many
in-store events, art openings, and parties that we host on a regular
basis. Additionally, in-shop custom corset fittings can be scheduled
for consultations from our Delicious Corsets Team.
Our new location, the Delicious Sideshow, was
launched in Spring 2009 and offers a completely new and unique
shopping experience for the fashionable men of Philadelphia! Just
a minute's walk from our original location, it is nestled into
the NorthEast Corridor of the Piazza at Schmidts, next to PYT
Lounge. The Sideshow offers all the same amazing quality, originality,
and top notch design as our original boutique, but for MEN!! High
end, edgy designers exclusively in Philadelphia through Delicious!
Our History
Established in 1995
Delicious Corsets' first retail boutique, Delicious Boutique
& Corseterie, opened on Liberties Walk, in the Northern
Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, on November 14, 2005.
Less than four short years later the men's boutique, Delicious
Sideshow, was launched on the Piazza at Shcmidts!
The boutiques allowed a growth from just corsets to a large and
varied selection of mens and womens clothing, jewelry, gifts,
and accessories from independent designers throughout the country.
We have sought out artists like ourselves who value unique design
and top notch quality.
The hands-on Delicious Boutique experience provides
guests with the opportunity to try on many different styles and
variations of corsets. Knowledgeable sales people are available
to help you learn about proper wear, lacing techniques, health
issues, and care instructions for fine corsetry.
Delicious Corsets has designed and created hundreds
of handmade corsets since the first Delicious Corset was created
by McConnell and Delicious in December of 1995.
