    Designer's Note:

At one point I wanted to build a rage cage. Like an actual cage made out of recycled leather belts with rings and studs holding in the entire frame. Big enough for 10 people to head bang in. My vision was for a boxed rage cage with a massive web of leather straps in a chaotic but meaningfully arranged mess, so many that on the outside all you seem is the beaming strobe lighting and smoke rising through the cracks. It would only play music like the prodigy, misfits, rage, and other acts of raddness to rage to. I had an epiphany during what would be my last burning man, to build the rage cage and return the next year, which never happened. I used to look out onto the playa and all I could see in the distance was the glowing explosions of fire, lighting up everyones beautiful faces, bodies dripping in leather, making for such a badass inspiring place. That was what I remember. But the last time I went something was missing, all that I could remember seeing was gone. Vanished. Raising my head up into the distance, all I could see was fun fur and way too many bright light LEDs. It looked like a terrible rave gone bad, with way too much money blasted into horribly decorated art cars. Thinking about it makes me want to instantly vomit unicorn poop; a disgrace to the lovely and beloved unicorn.

So getting back on track, instead of making an actual Rage Cage, I ended up making a bunch of different purses using different leather straps, rings and studs. This particular purse never got released to the world as I couldn't find any chain for the straps. Then I finally decided that the chain was a bad idea and I used leather straps for the handles, as you can see in the detailed pictures.

Now that years later I put my rage cage idea to rest, I decided that the purse should live on. So here it is. I hope you enjoy it. And my meandering story.

    DETAILS:
On the backside of the purse there is a hidden cell phone pocket half way down, disguised by the straps, magnetic closure. There is also a zipper pocket on the backside.

This version is approximately 12-13" at its widest point to 12" at the highest point.
