Hand carved and cast sterling silver, four fleur-de-lis center an amazing faceted bullet of blood red rhodalite garnet (also available in black melanite garnet). The gemstone inspired this piece - Just like the old medieval cathedrals in Italy (where I did my jewelry apprenticeship), the unique rose facets catch the light like a stained glass window. The Maltese Cross, also known as a Crusaders Cross, is a gothic symbol of strength and worldliness, with each equal length point representing the four cardinal elements.
About 1.25 inches in diameter, the Maltese Cross hangs from 18" length of sterling cable chain which is thick enough for women or men.
